Okay so we are in the final stretch :) I will continue to sell bookmarks this week and next week then next Friday (the 17th) my mom and I will be going to McKay's to buy the books for Whitsitt. Then on the 23rd we will take the books to the school. I know I personally can't wait to see the look on the teachers' and kids' faces and it's all thanks to every one of y'alls support. Thank you so much and please let people know because my partnership with Whitsitt may be coming to a close but I hope to branch out and help other local places in need and I can't do that without all the love and support I have received to date and know I will receive in the future.

Thanks again,
Emma

Update

Hey guys...thanks for everyone's support so far :) I'm making more book markers right now and after about another month I will be buying the books and taking them over to Whitsitt Elementary. We are hoping to take the books to the school on September 23. Thanks for helping me with this and if you have any questions or want to buy a book marker for $2 please let me know. After Whitsitt I hope to continue and branch out and take books to other local places in need.

hey guys :)
so some of you may be wondering what exactly Duct Taped Luv is....well... its a charity organization that I started about 6 or 7 months ago. I hand make bookmarks out of duct tape. I sell these bookmarks for $2 a piece. All of the money goes to help out with buying books for elementary schools that can't afford to buy books for the class rooms. I am especially focusing on John B Whitsitt Elementary School. The families that have kids at this school are living in poverty. My church has "adopted" the school and we are doing everything we can to help them. I plan on helping other schools in the future. Please help the cause and buy a bookmark (if you don't read still get one and you can use it for the books you read in school)
Thanks,
Emma Lawson
